Or you see such an error in your miner’s kernel log

bmminer not found, restart bmminer ...

Our firmware page has the firmware available for download and reload.

Following firmware loading, run the miner for 20 minutes.

After reloading the firmware, check the following:

1. Check the settings and URLs for your mining pool very carefully. The tab for miner configuration is where you can find them. This can be caused by any mistake, including typos or blank spaces in the pool URLs.

This might occur if there is a problem connecting to the mining pools, so check your miner’s connection with those as well.

2. Verify the stability of your network and internet. Most customers are not aware that their network settings or router configurations can result in this error. You may use the Ping button under the “Network” and then “Diagnostic” to make sure your miner can receive data.

3. The front and rear fans’ voltage should both be checked. Switch the front and back fans if the front fan displays a lower voltage.

Read the kernel log for “Fatal Error: some Fan lost or Fan speed low”. The fans could have problems, according to this message. Test, then swap out with a functional set.

4. Reset the miner

5. All hash boards must be disconnected from the control board and the power supply unit. Restart the miner with only the control board connected. Replacement of the control board is required if the error message persists.
